Munich airport, also known as Franz Josef Strauss Airport, is about 30km north east of Munich City Centre. During 2007 the airport saw 34 million passengers pass through the terminal and with 244 destinations catered for it’s hardly surprising that Munich is the 2nd largest airport in Germany and is in the top ten in Europe. Getting to and from the city centre is really simple.
